How To Make: Cannabis Coconut Oil

Recipe Ingredients & Supplies:

  • 1 cup of coconut oil

  • 1 cup of cannabis flower

  • Cheesecloth

  • Saucepan

  • Grinder/Blender


STEP 1. Grind or blend cannabis, make sure your plant material will not leak through the cheesecloth.

STEP 2. Place saucepan onto stove on LOW heat. Put in your coconut oil.

STEP 3. Put cannabis into saucepan once oil is melted. Stir generously for at least 3 hours. DO NOT LET OIL EXCEED 245 degrees Fahrenheit.

STEP 4.  Strain cannabis in cheesecloth over your storage container. Squeezing the remaining oil out of your cannabis is optional, as some consumers report it gives your food a plant-like taste. 

Now that you have completed your infused coconut oil, this oil needs to be place in the fridge, as it will carry a shelf life up to two months. Enjoy cooking with your cannabis oil and be sure to be aware of your doses. Bon appetit.
